As a training provider, you need to demonstrate that you are meeting the quality standards for the delivery of Skills Development Scotland funded training, as well as demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement of your service delivery.
In the contracting year of 2018-19, all providers will be required to complete a self assessment and a subsequent quality action plan in relation to SDS’s current quality standards. In addition, a number of formal team quality review visits will take place. Providers will be informed in good time if they are to receive a visit. Your Skills Investment Adviser will monitor your progress and support you in relation to the delivery of your quality action plan.

Prepare by reading the quality assurance and improvement framework – self assessment guidance
Complete your self assessment and quality action plan by 30 April 2018.
Review and update your quality action plan regularly throughout your contract and discuss progress with your Skills Investment Adviser and/or Quality Assessor.
