Our employer was established in 2010 to supply quality construction works to clients and main contractors, covering the whole of Scotland.

The sectors our Company operates in:

•Civil engineering and ground works
•Heritage Works
•Stonemasonry – construction, refurbishment and conservation
•Refurbishment – internal and external fabric
•Extensions – domestic, commercial
•Insurance Works

We have a large multi-trade labour team suitably trained and with the appropriate skills to provide a wide variety of services. We have access to a range of Approved Subcontractors who have been rigorously checked prior to acceptance.

What might a typical day in this job look like?

Office Assistant required for growing local construction company. Duties to include answering telephones, maintain purchase order spreadsheet, filing and typing when required, general office duties. Candidate must be enthusiastic, have computer skills, minimum of 4 national 4 qualifications. Must have experience of working with Microsoft Office software suite comprising Word, Excel, Outlook.

What will I learn?

You will be supported to achieve an SVQ Level 3 Business and Administration qualification throughout the apprenticeship. You will be given a full induction into your role, ongoing support and coaching as well as working towards your modern apprenticeship qualification.

What qualification or qualities are required?

Candidate must have computer skills, minimum of 4 national 4 qualifications. Must have experience of working with Microsoft Office software suite comprising Word, Excel, Outlook.
