This two year Modern Apprenticeship is based in Dundee House, working full time, 37 hours per week. The Modern Apprentice Scheme is focused to target high youth unemployment in the Dundee Area.
Funding for training is only available for candidates aged 16 to 19 or disabled/care experienced applicants up to the age of 29. Please ensure, if you are applying for a Modern Apprentice post, that you meet one of these criteria. As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete an online behavioural questionnaire. This questionnaire measures how you would think or behave in the job role and your profile results will be matched against pre-determined criteria established for the job role. You will learn skills and experience to undertake appropriate theoretical and practical training to work as part of the IT Software team on IT software maintenance, support and development projects and support business solutions to meet the Council’s needs.
You will have 2 Higher Grades, including English and Maths/Science at level C or above, or equivalent National Qualification in a computer related subject.
