Job overview

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Business Administration Apprentice with a positive attitude who is keen to begin and develop their career within the company. This apprenticeship will allow you to learn and perform various administrative tasks to support our People Team (including the HR and Learning and Development functions) helping us to deliver the very best service to our people. As this position is provided in conjunction with the Business Administration Apprenticeship scheme.

The role will be largely varied, with a variety of duties including, but not limited to, data entry; scanning, photocopying and filing; library management; organising and booking training workshops any other administrative duties as required.

 Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, 35 hours per week.

What will I learn?

Over the course of your 12 month apprenticeship you will work towards your SCQF Level 6 in Business Administration which combines online learning with on the job experience to develop your business skills.

What qualification or qualities are required?

You will be enthusiastic, eager to learn, demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude at all times.

The ability to use your own initiative, and identify improvements will be an advantage.

Working within a busy team environment, you will possess the ability to integrate well with your colleagues and will manage your own workload effectively.

This role requires high attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Basic IT skills are an essential requirement for the role, in addition to having a desire to learn new skills.
