GP Strategies are delighted to be assisting Re-markable with the recruitment and training of an Apprentice Team Administrator based in their Edinburgh Office, and looking to develop a career within an Admin role.
Location – Edinburgh
Hours – 37 Hours per Week
Salary - £14,000 PA (1 year FTC)
We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Administrator to work in our fast-paced office in Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh. Reporting to the Chief Operation Officer, the role allows the individual to learn, develop and grow within their role by undertaking a Modern apprenticeship in Business Administration whilst gaining first-hand work experience. The Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support across the organisation, in particular to the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team via diary management and preparing meetings
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the following skills:
Requirements you will need:-
·Providing an office infrastructure and environment that meets the needs of the business and managing operational issues that arise to minimise disruption to colleagues.
·Ensuring the office is a safe and healthy environment.
-Liaising with the cleaner
-Fire Extinguisher Testing
-Liaising with the learning and development manager on online safety training for employees
·Purchasing of office supplies and consumables. Ensuring we have adequate levels of stock whilst keeping within the allocated annual budget. Stock includes but not limited to all stationary items, printer tonner, franking machine accessories and perishables such as milk, coffee, tea, biscuits and office fruit.
·Ensuring franked mail is taken to the post box or larger mail (such as plaques) are taken to the local post office
·PA support to the Chief Executive and senior leadership team, providing required support in arranging and coordinating meetings and activities and documentation required.
·Arranging & Follow up from client meetings with appropriate agreed information
·Providing support with Board Meetings. From co-ordination of meeting dates and location, to formatting and finalising papers for distribution before meetings.
·Supporting Remarkable Event Co-ordination.
-Dates co-ordination of meetings
-Co-ordination of invitations and attendee management
-Meeting set up and catering arrangements (breakfast, lunch, tea, coffee etc.)
·General administrative support – providing colleagues with administrative support as required; including printing, document amending or adapting, coordination of internal meetings, catering, invitations etc
Modern Apprenticeship Programme
The successful candidate will undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration. You will work towards the achievement of a nationally recognised Business Administration Diploma (SCQF 6). You will be supported throughout your apprentice journey by a dedicated GP Strategies Assessor.

·Previous experience of working with a range of IT applications essential

·Experience working within a consumer-focused organisation
·Previous experience of working in an administrative role preferred
