GP Strategies are delighted to be assisting DJ Alexander with the recruitment and training of a Modern Apprentice Maintenance Administrator based in their Edinburgh Office, and looking to develop a career within an Admin role.

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Administrator to work in our fast-paced office in Easter Road, Edinburgh. Reporting to the Property Maintenance Manager the overall purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day property administration. You will ensure that all department administration is kept up to date, provide telephony support during busy periods and support with the management of safety certification and communal maintenance for our customers. Applicants should be proficient multitaskers, organised and have strong people skills.

Responsibilities are varied but will include:

Taking inbound calls from customers and recording relevant details
Scanning documents and uploading them to customers’ accounts
Organising property safety certifications
Recording and action of communal property repairs
Providing administration support to the wider Maintenance Team

What will I learn?

The successful candidate will undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration. You will work towards the achievement of a nationally recognised Business Administration Diploma (SCQF 6). You will be supported throughout your apprentice journey by a dedicated GP Strategies Assessor.

Upon completion of the Apprenticeship Programme, there will be career progression opportunities for you as well as further scope for training and development.
