Howden supports multiple sectors including infrastructure, power generation, oil & gas, wastewater, metals, mining and transportation.

Openings exist at our manufacturing facility in Glasgow for two Craft Fitting Apprenticeships.

What will I learn?

Candidates will work towards SVQ's at levels 2 & 3. They will also be required to obtain a suitable academic qualification in an engineering discipline to at least National Certificate (NC) level, progressing to HNC / HND where relevant.

What qualification or qualities are required?

You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement

All candidates must be have good communication skills and show a desire and commitment to succeed as an Apprentice within Howden Compressors.

Candidates for the vacancies must have, or expect to pass at least 4 National 5 Grades at Level C or above, Higher grades would be an advantage.
