This Business Administration Modern Apprenticeship post is within a busy construction sector organisation based in Airdrie. The post is working within a small office team, supporting the office manager with tasks such as general admin tasks, answering the telephone and dealing with customer enquiries, meeting and greeting customers on site whilst giving fantastic customer service. Booking in orders, preparing work packages, data entry and using specialist IT software such as SAGE and TRIAGE.
You will be given a full induction into your role, ongoing support and coaching as well as working towards your Modern Apprenticeship qualification within your first year of employment. You will also have the opportunity to participate with in-house training opportunities and external training courses as required to support your development.
National 5 qualifications in English and Maths are essential. Administration, IT and Accounts are all desirable but not essential.
Personal qualities required are good presentation and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, excellent time-keeping, time - management and reliability is a must too. Good IT skills and a keen attitude to learn and progress within a business environment. Previous experience of SAGE and TRIAGE would be an advantage.
The successful applicant must be able to deal with working to tight timescales and under pressure as well as liaising with internal and external customers.
