City Electrical Factors Ltd is a private limited company established in 1951. We are the United Kingdom’s leading Electrical Wholesale Network with almost twice as many distribution outlets as our nearest competitor.
As a branch apprentice you will be involved in all aspects of branch operations which will start in the warehouse section of the branch where you will learn all aspects of warehouse management and stock control.
Your duties will involve checking in goods, picking orders, loading and unloading van's, making up orders, stock taking, carrying out deliveries, dealing with customers, taking payments, processing orders and ensuring the warehouse is tidily maintained and organised.
The skills you will learn include communication, problem solving, time management, product knowledge and teamwork. You will also be trained in the company’s internal processes and procedures.
You will receive on the job training and work towards achieving an SVQ Warehouse & Storage L2 qualification through workplace assessment.
It is important to have qualities such as a willingness to work and learn new skills, be punctual and reliable, be motivated and enthusiastic, be computer competent, meet deadlines and be prepared to work effectively as part of a team.

Hours of work. 40 Hours per week Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
