Job overview

As a branch apprentice you will be involved in all aspects of branch operations which will start in the warehouse section of the branch and your training will lead to trade counter, carrying out deliveries and administrative duties.

Your duties will involve checking in goods, picking orders, loading and unloading van's, making up orders, stock taking and ensuring the warehouse is tidily maintained and organised.

As your training progresses you will be trained on the trade counter where you will meet the needs of the customers face to face providing them with excellent customer service. There will also be administrative duties to accompany these roles.

You will receive on the job training and work towards achieving an SVQ Warehouse & Storage L2 qualification through workplace assessment.
It is important to have qualities such as a willingness to work and learn new skills, be punctual and reliable, be motivated and enthusiastic, be computer competent, meet deadlines and be prepared to work effectively as part of a team.

This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career within the Electrical Distribution Sector with a highly reputable company.
Hours of work. 40 Hours per week Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

What will I learn?

What qualification or qualities are required?

A Good Level of English and Maths as well as a Driving Licence. Please ensure this is listed on your CV. Age/driving experience also required.
