Our client, a leading road marking company based in Airdrie, are looking for someone to join their team as an Administration Assistant. The successful candidate will be dealing with the order numbers – marking sure delivery notes are received and attached to order number and then attached to invoice and check that prices / quantities etc are all correct. They will also learn the new EDRS system and act as a back up for the Senior Administrator should they be on holiday or sick – various other office duties obviously when needed.
As part of the development in the role, you will learn how to manage all different areas of office administration, learn invoicing and purchase ledger skills. You will also be working towards an SVQ in Business Administration.
There are no set requirements for this role in terms of qualifications, although good Maths and English would be preferred. Strong It skills are necessary as this role is computer based. The most important value for this role is a willingness to learn and develop, as there will be opportunities to take on more responsibility a the role grows.
