We’re looking to develop an apprentice through our L&D business Administration opportunity. This role will give the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of business administration activities within a global facilities management organisation, focusing on support for the Learning and Development function of our North Sea Energy & Resources business and will include many development opportunities, including the opportunity to complete offshore training, (for legal reasons applicants need to be 18 or older during 2021 in order to be able to undertake this training).Up to age 29yrs may be considered if specific criteria is met.
The role will be based from our central Aberdeen office but with the ability to work flexibly.
The work will be to support the administrative aspects of supporting Learning for the three North Sea countries and so an openness to travel is desirable but there is no expectation of experience in Learning and development.
This role, is suitable for applicants looking for an entry into a large multi-national organisation and will provide many opportunities for personal development. The successful candidate will display the right behaviours and attitude towards the type of work involved, previous life experience will be key but prior work experience is not essential and full training will be provided.
After full training you will carry out the following
• Providing Data reports on learning activity
• Preparing slides, documents and spreadsheets to support the business users
understanding their compliance and learning activity
• Responding to email and phone questions from users across the Energy &
Resources North sea business
• Co-ordinating training activities to coincide with logistics schedules
• Supporting the use of the Learning management system7
You will work towards completing Business Administration SCQF Level 6 Modern Apprenticeship qualification.
You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement
You will have a minimum National 5 English, Maths and IT/ Business grades.
