A fantastic opportunity to work in a specialist supplier of produce to Scotland's top restaurants, hotels and bars. You will be an important member of the team, supporting them across the business with aspects such as Sales, Marketing, Finance and Health and Safety hence you will gain a wide range of experience.
The company are supportive of training and development and will support this role with a Modern Apprenticeship. They are looking for a recent school leaver to mould and develop into the role and there is potential for support with further development.
What might a day in this job look like?
Duties will include:
Supporting the office manager with general administrative tasks.
Supporting the finance team when needed.
Help ensure Health and Safety is adhered to on-site following up H&S checks and so forth.
Nutritional data-base updating and managing.
You will undertake an SCQF Level 6 Business Administration. You will also receive on the job training for the business and be fully trained on all their systems.
Ideally we are looking for National 5s, Credit or General Level Standard Grades, and/or Intermediates including Maths and English. Highers would be advantageous.
Being able to deliver excellent customer service is a must as well as being well organised with excellent attention to detail The post is a varied and challenging position that requires the ability to work as part of a team and also to work efficiently and accurately. Good communication skills, confidence and computer literacy are required as well as an appreciation of confidentiality and data protection.
