Dingbro Ltd have apprenticeship vacancies for young, bright and enthusiastic individuals who can work hard to improve their skills and knowledge within a busy motor industry retail environment.

You will get to learn many practical skills from being in a real working environment. You will be supported by qualified members of staff to enable your learning first-hand and on how to undertake the job roles required correctly and efficiently. You will also get the opportunity to assist in many branch type activities (multi-departmental roles) allowing you to progress through the apprenticeship in a timely but challenging manner. this vacancy is within our car, light vehicle department,

What will I learn?

Dealing with goods inwards, locating vehicle parts within the company storage systems.
Rectifying orders, arranging returns, dealing with customers both internal and external, this could also be over the phone or face to face.
Maintaining stock levels through electronic means and locating parts from the stock (picking).
Raising invoices and cash handling for parts that are sold.
This is a great opportunity for someone wishing to enter into the Automotive Industry.

What qualification or qualities are required?

You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement

National 5 passes, grade C or above in English and Computing plus 1 other relevant subject, or equivalent academic achievements.

Good Core Skills in IT, Communication, Numeracy, Problem Solving and Working with others.

Must be highly organised and have good attention to detail.
Excellent IT and Communication skills.

A really strong desire to work within the Automotive Industry.
