Job overview

As a Modern Apprentice working within a Social Work team based in Hawick you will learn all aspects of Business Support.

As this is an apprentice post the job holder will be required to work in various areas and departments throughout the organisation to develop skills, knowledge and experience. This will be via on the job training and formal training sessions to establish knowledge and understanding.

You will be based in Hawick but on occasions you may be asked to do tasks in different locations that are beneficial to your development and training.

As part of the apprenticeship you will be required to engage with a training provider to obtain the desired qualification of a SVQ 2 Business and Administration and have regular meetings with the supervisor and/or assessor.

What will I learn?

You will undertake a formal modern apprenticeship in Business & Administration leading to a SVQ Level 2 qualification on successful completion. Combined with working in an office environment gaining valuable experience, knowledge and understanding,

What qualification or qualities are required?

Minimum of 3 standard grades at level 1,2,3 or equivalent including English
A positive approach to learning and gaining new skills through teamwork and training opportunities.
