Job overview

Initial purpose of role;
To provide ongoing support to the Kitchen Contract Team in technical and administration duties, within defined timescales and agreed quality standards.

What will I learn?

Key responsibilities;
• Preparing kitchen designs for technical checking.
• Preparing kitchen paperwork for client sign off.
• Preparing kitchen paperwork for installation packs.
• Preparing kitchen paperwork for ordering.
• Communicating with internal and external clients re timelines and status of jobs.
• Updating of internal reporting documents.

Long term responsibilities;
• Creating designs for clients.
• Following briefs and working to budgets.
• Pricing matices.
• Technical checking.
• Ensuring stipulated technical and safety codes are met in adherence with appliances, spacing, services etc.
• Client meetings and presentations.
• Direct dealings with Installation teams, with an understanding of project managing.

What qualification or qualities are required?

You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement

Must have Minimum Nat 4/5 in English / Maths
We are looking for the candidate to be very strong in the following skillsets;
• Working independently on own initiative and also able to contribute as part of a team.
• Willingness to be flexible and get on well with a wide variety of people.
• Taking instruction and working withing given timescales.
• Communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written.
• Numeracy skills and attention to detail, especially in technical areas.
• Organisational skills, with the ability to multitask when required – capacity to handle multiple customer/client requests at any given time.
• Prioritising work under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
