Job overview

Effectively manage the front of house (FOH)/reception area, maximising sales and bookings, acting as key point of contact for all clients, handling enquiries, client welcome and goodbye, phone calls and emails.

Ensure high standards of accuracy of client booking and diary management.
Ensure clients are advised correctly on the treatments available and suitability.

Deliver the highest level of client service and care at all times.
Embrace the brand image and desired work culture within the Spa.
Ensure that brand guidelines and company standards are met and exceeded in the FOH.

The main area of responsibilities are
• Client bookings, maximizing the therapists to their full capacity and ensuring accuracy
• Maximizing up-selling, gift card and walk-in retail sales opportunities
• Ensuring high level of customer service is delivered
• Client complaint handling
• Front of house administration and adherence to Hygiene, Health and Safety rules

The FOH is a key role in the salon to support the day to day operations and acting as the key contact for all clients visiting or enquiring or booking treatments. The FOH is expected to handle all booking enquiries, maximise the appointment diary through effective diary management, and maximise opportunities to increase salon sales through up-selling additional treatments, retail or gift cards. You will support management team through effective admin support and ensuring retail display is at its best at all times and maximising sales opportunities.

What will I learn?

The FOH will gain full knowledge of the salon management system from client bookings and utilisation to reporting tools and client administration.

You will learn the correct booking parameters set by management as well as ensuring that you have the knowledge to ensure the correct room resource is used.

You will learn to operate PURE client standards for individual bookings, party bookings, packages and refreshments. You will gain an in depth knowledge of treatment timings and prices.

You will learn the process of client feedback or complaints ensuring they handled promptly and in line with company policy.
You will be working towards a Customer Service Modern Apprenticeship where you will support the above ensuring you are competent in the following areas - On completion of this programme apprentices should be
able to carry out the following tasks competently:

• Deal with customers
• Deliver reliable customer service
• Improve customer relationships
• Apply risk assessment to customer service
• Work effectively with others
• Lead a team to improve customer service
• Review and manage customer service practices

What qualification or qualities are required?

You will be team motivated to work towards your own and the overall salon targets each month to improve salon performance.

Essential requirements for this position are - Computer literate, Organisational skills Educated to minimum of Standard Grade Education, Good communicator – written and oral skills, Confident, Driven, Uses initiative.

Good judgement, Dependable, Approachable, Desire to develop role function, Career plan, High expectations of self.
