This role is ideally suited to a recent school/college leaver interested in pursing a career in Medical Administration.

The post is varied, challenging and requires the ability to work efficiently and accurately to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated individual who can work well under pressure, unsupervised in often complex and unpredictable situations.

What will I learn?

• Knowledge of clinical systems
• Meeting and greeting patients
• Scheduling appointments
• Audiotyping
• Maintain company data entry and spreadsheets
• Carry out office administration including : filing, photocopying, post
duties & office stationery
• Continuously improve customer service
• Maintain and build relations with new and existing clients
• Complete training activity for core skills, own role and multi-skilling
• Comply with relevant legislation and company policy and procedures
(H&S, HR, business controls)
• Keep self up to date with changes in relevant regulations, legislation,
market developments, products, company news
• Demonstrate flexibility and team-working in order to improve
efficiency and effectiveness of the overall business
• Ad hoc duties as and when required to meet business needs
• Compliance with company administration policies and procedures
• Desire to learn new skills and gain knowledge
• Ability to take instruction
• Good time Management

What qualification or qualities are required?

You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement

Minimum Nat 5 equiv in English / Maths

• Higher’s (Desirable not essential)
• Driving License (Desirable not essential)
