What will I learn?
The Modern Apprenticeship consists of a period of off-the-job training, Core Skills to SCQF Level 5, Work Based training and further education. On successful completion candidates are awarded a Certificate of Modern Apprenticeship.
What qualification or qualities are required?
You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement
Craft Apprenticeship
A good school record with preferably a technical background but not essential.
Technician Apprenticeship
A minimum of 3 acceptable National 5 passes preferably including Mathematics, English and/or Physics, plus technical subjects would be an advantage.
