This means you'll be gaining the skills, knowledge and understanding that the industry expects from a graduate.

What will I learn?

A GA is about much more than just getting a degree. Because it’s work-based, you’ll also gain a whole range of useful experience and skills such as:

  • An understanding of businesses/organisations and their key functions, processes and strategies
  • The ability to apply organisational strategy models
  • An understanding of approaches to project management and how to apply them
  • Knowledge of financial models and how to use them to analyse performance
  • Understanding of how technology can enhance business
  • Knowledge of leadership styles, organisational culture and how to manage people and teams effectively
  • Knowledge and understanding of the financial services sector: its relevance, the regulatory environment and how it is impacted by technology
  • Knowledge, skills and qualifications relating to requirements for professional recognition within the sector and area of operation
