What's the qualification?

You’ll gain a qualification in Bus and Coach Engineering and Maintenance at SCQF level 6You’ll study either:  

  • Bus and Coach Engineering and Maintenance (Mechanical-Electrical) 
  • Bus and Coach Engineering and Maintenance (Electrical) 
  • Bus and Coach Engineering and Maintenance (Mechanical) 
  • Bus and Coach Engineering and Maintenance (Body Cladding)

These transferable skills can be used in different roles, such as coach fitter and supervisor.

This Modern Apprenticeship provides a range of options. You could continue your studies by progressing to an engineering degree or go into full-time work.    

Further education: Carry on studying with a supervisor or management MA. Your experience will support your university application.

Duration
