What's the qualification?
You’ll gain a qualification in Bus and Coach Engineering and Maintenance at SCQF level 6. You’ll study either:
- Bus and Coach Engineering and Maintenance (Mechanical-Electrical)
- Bus and Coach Engineering and Maintenance (Electrical)
- Bus and Coach Engineering and Maintenance (Mechanical)
- Bus and Coach Engineering and Maintenance (Body Cladding)
What will I learn?
As part of your work, you’ll learn how to:
- repair a bus or coach
- fit different vehicle parts
- maintain strong customer relationships
- develop technical knowledge of bus parts
- carry out best safety practices
This apprenticeship will help you develop core skills such as:
