Hospitality covers a range of industries, such as food and drinks production, hotels and tourism. Improve your leadership skills by learning how to manage a team in busy environments like a restaurant or bar. Learn how to create customer support strategies and motivate others.   

The apprenticeship opens up a variety of jobs in the hospitality sector. Work in a restaurant and develop your own team of cooks as an executive chef. Become a bar manager and oversee the creation of new drink menus. Make sure guests are comfortable by applying your customer service knowledge as a hotel manager.   

What's the qualification?

You will gain a qualification at SCQF level in hospitality supervision and leadership. The qualification includes:  

  • Core units of aSVQ in hospitality supervision and leadership at SCQF level 7  
  • Work experience in an exciting and versatile industry

What will I learn?

As part of your work, you'll learn how to:

Entry requirements

There are no set requirements for the apprenticeship. But it is worth having an interest in the hospitality sector and a desire to progress.  


This Modern Apprenticeship will take 12-24 months to complete.
