What will I learn?

As part of your work, you'll learhow to:   

  • Maintain health and safety in a hospitality environment 
  • Provide a food and beverage service 
  • Prepare and clear a bar area 
  • Serve alcoholic and soft drinks 
  • Maintain cellars and kegs 
  • Set up a specialist coffee station 
  • Clean drink dispense lines 
  • Receive, store and issue drink stock

This Modern Apprenticeship gives you a variety of optionsCarry on your studies with a hospitality-related degree or go into full-time work.  

Further education: Carry on your studies with a technical apprenticeship in hospitality. This could lead to a higher qualification like a bachelor’s degree in event management. Your experience will support your university application.

There are no set requirements for the apprenticeship. But it is good to have an interest in the hospitality industry and a desire to learn.
