During your apprenticeship, you'll learn how to:   

  • Comply with statutory regulations and organisational safety requirements 
  • Use and interpret engineering data and documentation 
  • Work effectively and efficiently in an engineering environment 
  • Prepare and use grinding machines 
  • Produce components using hand fitting techniques 
  • Produce mechanical engineering drawings using a CAD system 
  • Prepare and use lathes for turning operations
