What's the qualification?
You will earn a Modern Apprenticeship qualification at either SCQF level 5 or 6 in Signmaking. This qualification includes the following:
- Practical SVQ units combined with core skills training
- Hands-on industry experience in a professional working environment
What will I learn?
During your apprenticeship, you'll learn how to:
- Develop design skills including etching, engraving and spray painting
- Assemble and maintain signs using shaping, joining and forming skills
- Use ICT software to produce sign graphics and images
- Conduct site surveys to assess suitability for a sign installation
- Install sign products safely and effectively
You will also develop the following core skills:

Duration
