What's Healthcare Support like?

Do you have a desire to help people? Do you want to make a difference in someone’s life? Study for an apprenticeship in healthcare support and work alongside people who are dedicated to saving lives.

The apprenticeship is geared towards anyone who wants to improve their medical knowledge. Learn how to maintain a healthy environment for patients. Use a range of medical equipment such as oxygen machines and heart rate monitors. Discover what it means to look after a variety of patients and make them feel comfortable.

Whether you’re interested in healthcare administration or a hands-on role, there’s a job for you in the industry. Work as a healthcare assistant and help to make patients feel comfortable in hospital. Become an ambulance driver and help transport people to hospital. Make a positive difference in someone’s life by working as a mental health support worker. The apprenticeship is designed to give you the skills you need to be successful in Scotland’s healthcare sector.
