What's Housing like?

Do you like contributing to worthy causes? Are you someone who wants to make a difference to Scottish society? Study for an apprenticeship in housing and work in a sector that’s committed to reducing homelessness in Scotland.

The apprenticeship is ideal for anyone who wants to create positive change for the vulnerable and disadvantaged. Learn how to meet social targets in a housing environment. Discover the latest construction support techniques and help to plan the creation of new homes. Learn how to develop strategies that can improve the wellbeing of local communities.

Scotland’s housing industry offers a range of rewarding jobs. Work as a housing administrator and make sure new properties meet energy efficiency requirements. Become a housing and wellbeing officer and help to provide shelter for the homeless. Work as a repairs officer and make properties safe to live in.
