You'll gain a Modern Apprenticeship in payroll administration at SCQF Level 6.

Your qualification includes:
CBQ Certificate in Payroll at SCQF Level 6
During your apprenticeship, you'll learn how to:
work out gross pay
carry out the termination of employment
manage period-end processing
report on payroll data
do computerised payroll administration
You'll develop the following core skills:

teamwork
These transferrable skills are useful for working in other jobs such as data administration and human resources.
This Modern Apprenticeship gives you a range of options. Continue your studies with a related apprenticeship or go into full-time work.

There are no set entry requirements for this Modern Apprenticeship, but it's useful to have strong skills in literacy and/or numeracy.
How does it work?
You’ll learn in a real-world environment and earn a wage. You’ll also study with a college or another learning provider.
How long will it take?
This Modern Apprenticeship will take between 12 and 24 months to complete.
