What's Procurement like?

Every business needs a variety of products and equipment to open its doors and to function. But to be a success, it needs employees who buy these goods at the right price and the right time.

Working in procurement means you unlock the opportunity to work in any sector or industry. You can make a huge impact on an organisation’s profits and savings by finding and purchasing what is needed at the best cost.

Having an eye for detail helps you build a career in the supply chain and procurement industry. You’ll create lasting relationships between customers and suppliers. You’ll learn to become a buyer as you work with finance, operations and sales and you’ll carry out market research to help decide future prices.

Procurement is vital to all businesses, so you’ll be able to work in a variety of jobs. Studying for a Procurement Apprenticeship will give you the skills you need to find a role that’s right for you.
