Straight to work: Use your qualification in social services to secure employment immediately. After completing the apprenticeship, you could work as a supervisor or manager in many areas within the sector. For example, you may support individuals and staff in care homes, day centres or community settings.
Entry requirements
You can enter once you've completed a Social Services and Healthcare Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 7.
Or, you can develop the practical experience you need by doing a work placement in social services before applying for the course.
How does it work?
You’ll learn in a real-world environment and earn a wage. You’ll also study with a college or other learning provider.
How long will it take?
This Technical Apprenticeship will take between 12 and 24 months to complete.
