This apprenticeship can help you develop the necessary skills required for a career in supply chain management. During this course, you'll learn to coordinate large logistical operations. You’ll learn to communicate and negotiate in a professional business environment. There are many available pathways to further your career after gaining a Modern Apprenticeship qualification in Supply Chain Management. You can undertake higher-level study or enter the industry with your newly developed skills.
Further education: Develop your knowledge further by progressing either onto a Technical Apprenticeship course or into Higher Education. Relevant courses for this industry include the Level 4 Technical Apprenticeship in Supply Chain Management and degrees such as International Operations and Supply Chain Management.

Entry requirements
There are no formal qualification requirements for this apprenticeship. However, you can increase your chances of a successful application by showing relevant previous experience, such as a work placement in a supply chain business. A National Progression Award in Supply Chain Operations at SCQF Level 5 can be valuable but is not essential.
How does it work?
You’ll learn in a real-world environment and earn a wage. You’ll also study with a college or another learning provider.
How long will it take?
This Modern Apprenticeship will take a minimum of 12 months to complete.
