Depending on the qualification units that you decide to complete, you will learn how to:
Work safely within the waste and recycling industry

There is a range of options available to you once you successfully complete this Modern Apprenticeship. You can either continue your formal education or learn at work with a job in the sector.
Further education: Continue your studies with qualifications at a higher level. This Modern Apprenticeship can provide progression opportunities to courses such as a Higher National Certificate/Diploma in Sustainable Resource Management or Waste Management.
Straight to work: Use your sustainable resource management qualification to apply for and begin work as soon as you have completed your apprenticeship. You could secure employment in jobs such as:

There are no requirements or restrictions for entry into this apprenticeship. However it's recommended that you have an interest in working outdoors and can perform physically demanding tasks if necessary.

This Modern Apprenticeship will take between 12 and 24 months to complete.
