Scottish Apprenticeship Week brings fantastic opportunities for school pupils. It’s a chance to explain work-based learning and how apprenticeships are working to give people in Scotland the right career opportunities to thrive.

In the new year, we'll publish a calendar of live online events. You can use this to check for any events and activities that are happening near you.

We'll release a range of pre-recorded sessions that you can show whenever suits your timetable.
The Scottish School & College Leaver Festival X National Apprenticeship Show
Tuesday 3 March – 10am to 2.30pm or 3.30pm to 6pm.
Wednesday 4 March – 10am to 2pm.
These events will take place at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow.
Skills Development Scotland will be at these free events, which are open to all school students across Scotland.
Over 60 leading employers, training providers, colleges, universities and professional bodies will come together to connect with students from S3 to S6.
Come along to find out about Scottish Apprenticeships and where you can find the latest vacancies. You'll also have the chance to talk to someone who can give you advice on doing an apprenticeship.
The organiser is offering a travel bursary scheme. This is available to school or college students between S3 and S6.
If you’re a teacher from a school or college who'd like to bring some students and benefit from the bursary, visit the event website to register group visits.
