What will I learn?
During your apprenticeship, you'll learn how to:
Promote and maintain services delivery in a facilities services environment
Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety
Support the work of a team and develop yourself
Control the use of equipment and materials in a facilities services environment
Maintain site security and safety
Carry out maintenance and minor repairs
Clean and maintain internal surfaces and areas
You will develop the following core skills:
Problem-solving

Teamwork
Communication
These transferrable skills are useful for working in other jobs such as cleaning and building maintenance.

This Modern Apprenticeship gives you a variety of options. Carry on your studies by studying for a technical apprenticeship in facilities management or find a related job.
Further education: Continue your studies by applying for a bachelor’s degree in security systems or another relevant subject. Your experience will support your university application.

Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this apprenticeship. However, it is helpful to have an interest in the facilities services sector.
How does it work?
You’ll learn in a real-world environment and earn a wage. You’ll also study with a college or another learning provider.
How long will it take?
The Modern Apprenticeship will take between 12 and 24 months to complete
