What's the qualification?

You will gain a qualification at SCQF level 7 in domestic plumbing and heating. The qualification includes:  

  • Core units of aSVQ in domestic plumbing and heating at SCQF level 7.  
  • Work experience in a practical and dynamic industry

Entry requirements

To qualify for this apprenticeship, you need to pass an industry approved multiple choice entry test. You need to achieve a 70% pass mark. It includes:  

  • A spatial awareness test 
  • A calculation and measurement test  


This Modern Apprenticeship usually takes around 3 years to complete.
