FIPS: Funding Information and Processing System
What is FIPS?
FIPS is an online portal that's used by Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and learning providers. It's where we work together to manage apprenticeship data, funding and records.
As a learning provider, you'll use FIPS to:
register apprentices on official training programmes like Foundation, Modern or Graduate Apprenticeships
keep apprentice information up to date for funding, reporting and compliance purposes
administer and claim payments for apprenticeship starts and milestones
